Hi, I’m
DALIA
I'm a West LA-based interior designer who believes the best spaces aren't just beautiful. They're built around the people who actually live in them.
My work is layered, collected, and timeless, though not timeless in a safe or formulaic sense. I mean timeless because it's genuinely true to the person who lives there. I'm drawn to homes that feel gathered over time: spaces with warmth, personality, and a point of view that is unmistakably the client's own. Beautiful, yes, but never at the expense of feeling lived in, personal, and real.
What I love most is the process of getting there. The puzzle of a floor plan. The weight of a material in your hands. The moment a room finally comes together and feels like home. Whether I'm working through a ground-up build, a full renovation, or a single room, I bring the same intention to every decision.
A designer who speaks two languages
Before I was a designer, I spent nearly a decade as a tax accountant in financial services. That background shapes everything about how I work now. I treat your budget as a real constraint, not a suggestion, and when a vision and a budget aren't aligned, I'd rather have that conversation early than disappoint you later.
Creativity and practicality aren't opposites in my work. They're the whole point. My clients tell me the project discipline and organization I bring are what set the process apart, not just the finished room.
Partnership, not just service
You're the one who lives in this space, not me, so everything starts with understanding you: how you move through your home, what each room needs to do, what you want your space to feel like at the end of a long day.
I ask a lot of questions, and I listen closely. From there, I take what I've learned and design something that reflects your life, elevated. My goal is never to impose a look. It's to help you arrive somewhere you wouldn't have found on your own, and to bring you along the whole way there.
Who I work with
My clients are at every stage of life. What they share isn't a life stage, it's a mindset. They understand a home is likely their largest financial asset and want to invest in it with intention, while also knowing a home is far more than a number on paper. It's where real life happens.
They want a home that feels like them, not a showroom and not a replica of something saved to a Pinterest board. My job is to bring my eye and my expertise to that vision, then step back enough to let their taste and story lead.
A little more about me
Outside of work, I'm a wife and a mother, and that shapes how I think about function in a home just as much as my professional training does. There's a particular sensitivity that comes from living inside a home the way real people do, noticing what works and what doesn't, what makes a day flow better or feel more restorative. That awareness comes with me into every project, regardless of who the client is.
A few other things worth knowing: I have a deep relationship with coffee (decaf, but don't let that fool you), I believe integrity is the foundation for everything, and I think kindness is one of the most underrated professional skills there is.
Ready to talk about your project?
Whether you're planning a full renovation, building from the ground up, or finally ready to make your home feel like you, I'd love to hear about it.
